Our residential homes in South Molton and Minehead support those requiring assistance without the need for the daily guidance of a Registered Nurse. These homes provide a step up for the care that can be provided at home.

Staff are able to provide minimal assistance or more detailed care  for residents as dictated by the resident or their advocate. Depending on the needs of the resident we can provide assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and walking.

Our residential homes are highly interactive and activities form a major highlight of the day. However if you prefer a quieter life then there are plenty of places to sit, reminisce or pass the time of day.

All of your care, meals and laundry are included in our fees.

There is a wide range of reasons for needing residential care. By accessing this level of care it could help you to continue living safely, whilst giving your family or carer peace of mind knowing you are in a safe and supportive environment. Residential care provides you with; day to day support, a comfortable and safe environment to live in, activities of real interest and enjoyment, privacy and dignity as well as support for your physical, spiritual, intellectual, emotional and social needs.

If you feel that you are unable to continue living at home and are thinking about living in a residential care home you may need to contact your local Adult Social Care office in the first instance. They will then talk to you about the support you may need. They will complete an assessment and it will determine whether you require residential, nursing or dementia care. If you are funding your own care you can be assessed by the Eastleigh Care Homes and we will assist you with appreciating the level of care that you may require.

South Molton

Our residential home is situated within easy reach of South Molton town centre where no expense has been been spared in providing a comfortable and welcoming home. The home reaches from the heart of a sympathetic conversion of a listed Georgian property to a dual level purposely developed extension. Rooms are beautifully appointed with each room being as individual as the care we offer.

The social rooms are centrally located and provide a focus for daily activities and afford ample opportunity to meet with friends and pass the time of day. Some bedrooms have balconies, which extend the living area providing a lovely place to sit, have a chat, or just watch the world go by. Rooms are complimented with a flat screen television, optional personal telephone and we welcome residents personalising their rooms with pictures and small adornments to help create a feeling of home.

Minehead

The original Edwardian building sits in stunning landscaped grounds; which includes a wildflower meadow, with glorious views to North Hill and the West Somerset coastline. Our home offers individual, comfortable and relaxing accommodation for our residents.

The lounges are designed to encourage socialising in small groups, but also offer privacy and quiet spaces for reading without distraction. Fantastically appointed, they also have probably one of the most beautiful settings in Minehead to relax and let the world go by. Rooms are complimented with a flat screen television, optional personal telephone and we welcome residents personalising their rooms with pictures and small adornments to help create a feeling of home.
