G'day from Eastleigh! 🌏 We’ve been busy preparing for our upcoming Bon Voyage trip to Australia, getting into the spirit of adventure with some wonderful themed activities. Our residents showcased their artistic talents by coloring in iconic Aussie animals like kangaroos and platypuses, while others enjoyed a classic afternoon of baking, whipping up a delicious batch of chocolate crispies to share. It’s been a fantastic day of creativity and treats as we gear up for our "departure"—stay tuned for more from our travels down under! 🇦🇺✈️

The fashion stakes are high today at Eastleigh Care Home! Our lovely ladies have been busy getting "raceday ready" for the Grand National, and we think they look absolutely stunning.
From elegant straw boaters adorned with vibrant ribbons and flowers to a very royal-looking golden tiara with a splash of purple, the creativity has been flowing as much as the tea! ☕✨
Whether they’re cheering for the favorite or a long shot, our residents are definitely the best-dressed spectators in the house.

🐾 A Special Visit from a Very Good Boy! 🐾
We had a wonderful day at Eastleigh Care Homes filled with wagging tails and tropical treats!
Our residents were delighted by a visit from the charming Ralph, our favorite therapy dog. There’s nothing quite like a furry friend to bring out the biggest smiles and brighten up our hallways. Ralph did a fantastic job sharing some love and cuddles with everyone he met. 🐶💛
To keep the good vibes going, our team (and some very creative residents!) whipped up these incredible fruit masterpieces. From watermelon frogs to banana palm trees, it was a "fruit-tastic" way to enjoy a healthy snack! 🍉🥝🍌

We had a wonderful creative session at Eastleigh Care Homes this week! 🎨
A big thank you to Sandra from MoJo Art Group for coming in and leading a fantastic art activity with our residents. Everyone got involved in painting beautiful horses in preparation for the upcoming Grand National 🐎
It was lovely to see so much creativity, and teamwork throughout the session. Activities like this bring so much joy and are a great way for residents to express themselves and connect with one another.

🎶 A Day of Praise and Play at Eastleigh Care Homes! 🎶
What a fantastic day we’ve had! We started our morning on a beautiful note with a special Easter Service led by Sheila and friends. It was a lovely time of reflection, music, and community.
But the fun didn't stop there! In the afternoon, things got moving and grooving when Roberto joined us for some Golden Zumba. 💃🕺 As you can see from the videos, our residents (and staff!) have some serious moves. From singing along to "Save the Last Dance for Me" to clapping along with the group, the energy was absolutely infectious!
There’s nothing like music and dance to brighten the spirit. A huge thank you to Sheila and Roberto for making today so memorable!

We had a wonderful Saturday celebrating Easter at Eastleigh Care Homes 🐣🌸
Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled Easter egg hunt, surrounded by beautiful spring decorations and plenty of smiles. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and sharing such joyful moments together.
