Amy Dietrich - Registered Manager
I re-joined Eastleigh in 2016 as Lead Nurse, having previously worked here as a newly qualified nurse in 2006. In March 2018 I took on the exciting challenge of Registered Manager.
When I am not at work I enjoy baking, knitting and long dog walks with Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Ben Chapman - Regional Catering Manager
Over my 14 years with Eastleigh Care Homes I have gained a deep understanding of the importance of diet and nutrition for the varied and at times complex requirements of our clients and strongly believe that all meals at Eastleigh need to be as delicious and appealing as they are wholesome and nourishing. We pride ourselves on using quality produce sourced from local suppliers and offer a wide variety of dishes both traditional and international in origin.
All meals are freshly prepared daily and homemade treats such as biscuits and cakes are in constant supply. The catering team in each of our three Homes maintain close working relationships with our care staff and the residents themselves to stay aware of the changing needs and tastes of those in our care and we pride ourselves on offering a diet to suit each person as a valued individual. We are proud to have the optimum rating for Food Safety in each kitchen across the business and operate to a high and efficient standard with a passion for the service we provide.
Diane Alderman - Activities Co-ordinator
I have worked at Eastleigh for many years, and I have now worked for the current owner Mr Wilson since he bought Eastleigh 23 years ago. I have worked many years as a senior carer but the more current years I have worked as an Activities Co-Ordinator. I have a level 2 and 3 NVQ in care and also a Creative Activities Therapist award. I have lived in a small village here in Devon all my life, knowing many of the local residents from being born and raised here. I have many interests like our lovely Devon landscape which I never tire of seeing. In my job I am able to take residents to the areas of beauty to enable them to see the view, and what’s great is we don’t have to drive miles to be able to find these beauty spots where we often stop and just get carried away looking at the scenery
Helen Calder - Operations Manager - Minehead
I joined Eastleigh in March 2015 as a carer. Ten months later I became their receptionist and have enjoyed every aspect of this role. This year I have been given the opportunity to develop a new role. I am very much looking forward to the exciting challenges that lay ahead as I work to support Amy and the rest of the team.
My partner & I moved to Exmoor from Berkshire 10 years ago and I love the outdoors. When I am not working I will usually be walking our lurcher Bryn, running, cooking or reading and enjoying a glass of wine in the garden.
Sara Jenn - Operations Manager - Raleigh Mead
I started working for Eastleigh in November 2009 where I began working as a Receptionist at the Residential Home in South Molton. I stayed there for about 10 months before going to work at the home in Minehead for a year. I learnt a lot of valuable skills in this time, how the homes were run, their expectations and general office duties. In January 2012 I was offered the position of Receptionist when the new Nursing Home in South Molton opened and I have been here ever since. It has been nice being at Raleigh Mead from day one getting to know the residents, families and watching the home grow.
Elayne Couzens - Receptionist - Minehead
I joined Eastleigh as a receptionist in summer 2018 after I re-located to Somerset from Buckinghamshire. I am enjoying a complete change in career and each day I look forward to helping visitors and residents in my varied role.
In my spare time I enjoy renovating my new house and tackling my unruly garden, as well as exploring Exmoor and surrounding areas.
