Wellbeing

It is our aim to provide the standard of care and attention, in the quality of environment that you would want, and to be able to cater for changing needs within a professional approach.

The wellbeing of our residents is integral to the holistic care that we provide. Eastleigh Care Homes endeavours to go beyond the physical care of our residents to understand and appreciate their histories, personal wishes and desires.

Our activities teams provide varied group and one to one activities that covers various engaging topics including music, arts, therapies and personal pursuits.

All residents regardless of their personal confines are actively engaged in meaningful activities that enhance their sense of well-being and personal worth.

Spiritual and religious choices are integral to the wellbeing of a high majority of our residents and these are thoughtfully supported in various mediums in our homes.

Visitors are encouraged to take an active part in the care of their loved ones and this allows an active involvement in the integrated physical and holistic care of our residents. We like to understand the personal histories of all our residents and appreciate any involvement from families or friends to assist us to enhance the care we provide.

Activities

‘Because memories matter…..’

In all of our homes we consider the social, psychological and physical benefits that can be derived from enjoying a varied and personalised activites program supports our residents to retain their sense of identity.

We have a dedicated team of highly trained activities co-ordinators that provide a varied daily program each month. Our team has completed enhanced learning to ensure full appreciation of our residents needs and ensure that the programme is balanced to reflect social opportunities and personal time. On joining us at Eastleigh one of our team will come and speak with you about your life, interests and hobbies and advise you of our current activities agenda.

Should you enjoy socialising then the many opportunities for visits to nearby events, local shopping outings, visits from local entertainers and our involvement in the local community will certainly keep you busy. If you enjoy quiet time we have an extensive library and media collection that will allow you to take time to connect with your inner self.

Religious services are available for you to attend as you wish and clergy of various denominations visit at regular intervals.
